Who We Are

It's Just Lunch is celebrating over 17 years in the dating business. We've created a service for our clients to meet like-minded people they otherwise would not have the opportunity to meet. The company began in Chicago in 1991 and now has locations from New York to Singapore….and everywhere in between.

It's Just Lunch was founded by a Chicago woman whose engagement was called off. Finding herself suddenly single, she began the tedious and difficult search to meet "normal", well-educated professionals. Her friends sent her out on blind dates, she tried personal ads, contemplated the internet and dating services... but she wasn't comfortable with any of these options. The ideal date, she decided, was a date for lunch or a drink after work. A fun, low pressure, more comfortable way to meet!

It's Just Lunch has been introducing busy professionals in the Twin Cities since 1997! Our staff is an experienced group of first date specialists - we truly enjoy taking the work out of dating and helping our clients meet compatible people.
